Mahnovas Digital is a web design and development studio founded by Mahveen Sarmad. We started it because too many businesses are sold a beautiful website that nobody ever measures against the one thing that matters: whether it brings in work.
Why the studio exists
The pattern is familiar to anyone who has bought a website. An agency presents a polished design, launches it, sends the final invoice and moves on. A few months later the question arrives that nobody planned for: did this actually help the business?
We set up Mahnovas Digital to answer that question every time, for every client, not only for the ones who think to ask. That changes how a project is run. Content is planned before design. Success is defined before the first screen is drawn. And the work is checked after launch, not just signed off on the day it goes live.
It also means saying no sometimes. If a template, a hosted shop or a better use of your existing site would serve you more cheaply than a custom build, we say so.
How we work
Remote, and organised for it
We work remotely with clients in different time zones. Decisions, files and progress live in a shared project board, so you always know where things stand without chasing anyone.
Writing before meetings
Most questions are better answered in writing, where they can be read twice and found again. We keep calls for decisions and reviews, and schedule them inside your working day.
Small, senior and hands-on
The person who scopes your project is one of the people who designs and builds it. There is no account layer between you and the work.
Mainstream technology
We use widely supported tools such as PHP, JavaScript, React, WordPress and Drupal, so you can hire for them, host them anywhere and never depend on us.
What we will not do
- Promise search rankings, traffic numbers or sales figures we cannot control.
- Lock you into a proprietary platform or a licence you cannot leave.
- Use dark patterns, fake urgency or invented reviews to push conversions.
- Publish client work or testimonials without written permission.
- Add costs that were not in the quote without asking you first.
What you can hold us to
- Dated, not vague
- Every stage has a week range before you sign anything, and we hold ourselves to it. If something changes, you hear it from us first, with the reason.
- You own everything
- Code, design files and content are yours. No proprietary CMS, no licence fees, and no need to come back to us for changes.
- The people you talk to do the work
- The person who scopes your project is one of the people who builds it. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a delivery team.
- We say the hard thing early
- If an idea will not work for your buyers, we tell you in week one with our reasoning, instead of quietly building it and hoping.
